THETALLNSHORT | THE NORMCORE

THE NORMCORE. Not saying that I am tired of fashionable clothes, but there are always moments that I am rushing to catch my shuttle bus for work, otherwise I am gonna be super late, like going back office at noon, so jeans and tees are my day-to-day best friend. This trend had been categorised as "Chic" by Harper's BAZAAR US #theList a few weeks ago (See the article here). That's part of the reason why I embrace this normcore trend which makes me self-complacent on my day-to-day not-so-suitable working outfit, like what I am wearing in this post. I am proud of this outfit #SorryNotSorry, oops.

FYI. For those who doesn't seem to know what is NORMCORE, here's the newest dictionary meaning:"Normal + Hardcore = Normcore". Normcore (noun) 1. A fashion movement, c. 2014, in which scruffy young urbanites swear off the tired street-style clichés of the last decade — skinny jeans, wallet chains, flannel shirts — in favour of a less-ironic (but still pretty ironic) embrace of bland, suburban anti-fashion attire.
